i tried on a bikini tonight. All I can do is laugh. I am SO not bikini ready but I'm desperately hoping that on my first wedding anniversary (July 4) I can strut my stuff at the lake for my husband. I remember a year ago hoping to wear a bikini on our honeymoon. That didn't happen b/c a) I did not lose near enough weight before the wedding and b) we didn't get to go on our honeymoon anyway :(
So, yeah, I tried one on and though I would definitely NOT go out in public like that I was a little surprised that I didn't look AS bad as I expected. Tomorrow I'm heading to Old Navy to buy a pair of size 10 jeans I think. I don't expect 10s to fit now but they're having a pretty good sale and I have a gift card so I figured I'd buy just 1 pair and use them as further motivation.

Not going out in public?? Try posting bikini pics on the internet for the world to see!! (What was I thinking?!) Wear that bikini with confidence!! Between now and July 4 keep up the your motivation and momentum and I am sure hubby (and most importantly you) will feel amazing about the vision of you in a bikini!
