25 pounds in 25 weeks.

That's what I've lost. Today at weigh in I lost exactly 1 pound for a total lost of 25.0 pounds! Yippee! Now....just have to keep the momentum.

Starting Weight: 193.4 (BMI 31.2)
Previous Weight: 169.4
Previous BMI: 28 -- Overweight

Week 25:
Weight: 168.4
BMI: 28 -- Overweight
25 down 32.2 pounds to go to reach goal weight (135)

In spite of not writing in a while, I don't have much to say today. Chalk it up to exhaustion. I'll try to write tomorrow or something when I'm more alert :) Enjoy the rest of your Thursday..>FRiday's almost here!

Boo.

Starting Weight: 193.4 (BMI 31.2)
Previous Weight: 168.8
Previous BMI: 28 -- Overweight

Week 22:
Weight: 169.4
BMI: 28 -- Overweight
24 down 33.2 pounds to go to reach goal weight (135)

Typical. I gained .8

It's annoying, but it is what it is. I do get what I deserve I just miss the days where a little fudging didn't have quite the effect it does now. Back in the day I could cheat all weekend and as long as I was good through the week, I still had losses pretty regularly. Those days are gone though. Oh well, back on track.

remember that dress?

The one that was really tight but still looked good? I posted pictures a while back and well, today I'm wearing it. Comfortably (for the most part). And I took some new pictures to see if I could SEE any difference in how I look. So here they are:

I think there is definite progress there! It's not a huge difference but I'm happy to see that I do (at least to me) look slimmer! I'll post again later with my weigh in results from tonight. Have a great day everyone!

play that country music right boy!

Today my husband and I went with my brother's family to the Fort Worth Stockyards. I knew it would be a lot of walking and because of that convinced myself to skip the gym this morning. Now, laying in bed with twitching leg muscles, I'm glad I did.

Becuase of the amount of walking I expected to do (which really turned out to be less, but still plenty) I chose to wear my Reebok Easytones. Those are the tennis shoes designed to tighten and tone your leg and butt muscles. I haven't seen any major changes since I got them but I don't wear them very regularly, just weekends. Well, walking around the stockyards has definitely had an effect. My legs and butt are EXTREMELY tired. More than they would be after a regular day of walking. I noticed this last week when we went to six flags too (then, also wearing my easytones).

I've gotten to the point where regular activities have calorie burning potential. Grocery shopping --- park further out and take an extra lap around the outskirts of the store. Bored on a Friday night --- head out on the bicycles or take a walk with the hubs. And, on days like today, and last Sunday --- get out and enjoy the weather with something that is a blast but requires plenty of walking! You could say I've become obsessed.

Anyway, now I'm off to bed so I can get up and hit the gym before church tomorrow!

OH WAIT! I almost forgot the whole reason I was posting tonight. I had what in the weight watchers world is called an NSV (non-scale victory). After the stockyards I wanted cowgirl boots so on the way home my husband stopped at Cavenders and let me get some! And 2 pairs of genuine cowgirl jeans (this apparently means nothing more than just really tight jeans). Anyway, almost everything I tried on fit even though I would pick up a pair of jeans and think, these are small! They're not going to fit! Then, on they slid, without butter or vaseline or anything! And I must admit, I looked awesome!

I'll post pics if I can ever find a camera that works!

YES! YES!! YES!!!

Starting Weight: 193.4 (BMI 31.2)
Previous Weight: 170.8
Previous BMI: 28 -- Overweight

Week 21:
Weight: 168.8
BMI: 28 -- Overweight
24.6 down 33.8 pounds to go to reach goal weight (135)

AHHH!!!! Can you believe it?! I lost 2 pounds this week! That's 3 weeks in a row with losses! And this one definitely feels the best. I stayed on plan all week, worked out 3 times (that's counting walking at Six Flags for 3 hours as a workout), and actually ended the week with 6 activity points LEFT OVER! What?! me??? Yes Sir!!!!!

Obviously I'm pretty excited about this loss. I am officially out of the 170s! Dang that 7 hung around for ever! I noticed this afternoon that I was in the 170s since January...and my weight loss had seriously slowed down. Well, not anymore! I'm pumped. Ready for another week of staying on plan and seeing it pay off!

Week 20

Starting Weight: 193.4 (BMI 31.2)
Previous Weight: 171
Previous BMI: 28 -- Overweight

Week 20:
Weight: 170.8
BMI: 28 -- Overweight
22.6 down 35.8 pounds to go to reach goal weight (135)

WHEW! I pulled a loss. As miniscule as it is, I'm grateful it's negative. This does kind of confirm my idea that the scale is a little delayed in showing my efforts. Or I think so anyway. I did really well staying on plan this week so I would have thought I deserved more than .2 but again, I'm not too disappointed. I'm staying on track again this week, and continuing my new workout regimen (which worked perfectly by the way!) and hopefully next week I can lose 1 pound and hit the 160s! That would be awesome. These 170s have worn out their welcome!
