last night i got home with 4 points remaining for dinner (it was a rough day) i headed to the fridge and grabbed a fried pie. then another. i stopped myself at the halfway mark of the second one...honestly, not b/c of the points value but b/c it just wasn't all that great. then i sat down to wait for the hubs to get home. about 30 seconds later, back at the fridge, i grab a cherry cream cheese danish and devour it. oops.
30 minutes later DH arrives and we head out to pick up dinner (like I really needed it)...Ended up at Taco Cabana with a Chicken Cabana Bowl, and some fried pickles from Chicken Express. I felt so sick halfway through the cabana bowl...thank goodness b/c this morning I decided to track it all and i used 43 points for that meal! the cabana bowl alone had 60 grams of fat in it! Thank the Lord for making me sick halfway through (only consumed 30 g fat!)
Anyway, all I can do is laugh. It's tracked, my weeklies are gone but I still amazingly have 9 activity points (earned by working out) left and plenty of time to earn more before my next weigh in.
Monday's weigh in went well. I went into it with zero expectations...I had been on plan but for some reason just wasn't feeling it. i was down .8 of a pound, i'll take it. I did hit 15 pounds lost so technically I owe myself a reward but I'm getting new glasses this weekend so I think I'll just let that be it. I can't convince myself to spend money on the shirt I had planned to reward myself with. I want to lose more weight before investing in clothes!

Here's a recipe you could try...
ReplyDelete1 Bunch of cilantro
1 cup of lime juice (a plastic lime)
4-5 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 TBSP Chicken Fajita seasoning
Puree the cilantro and lime in a food processor or blender, add chicken fajita seasoning to the mixture. Beat the chicken and smear each breast with the cilantro mixture. Add the rest of the mixture and chicken to a bowl and let marinate for about 20 min or more. Grill the chicken.
This is really good on salads, in wraps, with beans and rice....Use your imagination. And it's easy!
